I recently read an article about “Financial Issues Facing Today’s Healthcare Worker.” The survey concluded that the top concerns included lack of basic financial knowledge (76%), saving for retirement (64%), student loan debt (54%), coming up with $2,000 in one month for an emergency (50%) and simply being unhappy with their financial situation (34%).
